If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Yet if it is broken, you should definitely make changes to your field service management software. Then, however, comes the determining factor in what could be better and how to determine if something is “broken” or not in the first place.
In any scenario, however, as a field service management professional, you have to determine the best call for your business. And whether or not upgrading (or simply changing) the software you use, could help the brand grow.
Start this process by evaluating your current software. What capabilities does it have? Can you work virtually? Is it easily understood? Can you make necessary changes? What is it lacking, if anything? Does it allow new business to easily come in? The answers to these questions, and more, will help you determine if it’s a good fit.
